The concurrent gastric biopsy specimens revealed reasonably differentiated adenocarcinoma, whereas a cytological examination of the dialysis fluid revealed clusters of malignant cells. That is the primary report illustrating a case of a Borrmann sort 3 gastric most cancers with synchronous peritoneal involvement through which the evaluation of the illness state was aided by the cytological evaluation of peritoneal effluent. The endoscopic and pathologic findings. On the higher gastrointestinal endoscopy (A), a Borrmann sort 3 lesion partially lined by whitish exudate was discovered within the lesser curvature of the abdomen. The biopsy websites on this view are indicated with asterisks. The examination of the biopsy specimen (B) revealed reasonably differentiated adenocarcinoma admixed with neoplastic cells, the cytoplasm of which was stuffed with clear vacuoles of mucin (arrowheads), displacing the cell nucleus to the periphery (hematoxylin and eosin staining). The cytological examination of the peritoneal dialysis effluent (C) revealed clusters of malignant cells (Papanicolaou staining). The size bar is indicated in every panel.

The outcomes of the stomach CT examination. Choose pictures of the CT scan (A, B) revealed the thickened gastric wall (asterisks) and enlarged lymph nodes (slender arrow) alongside the lesser curvature to the antrum of the abdomen. A nodular delicate tissue lesion within the omentum (arrowhead) and enhanced peritoneal thickening (center arrows) had been additionally confirmed.
